Fuquan started his real estate
journey back in 1999. After learning more about note buying, he
began to build RE Funds to raise money to buy notes in bulk. Now on
his 4th fund, he shares his expertise with us.
We
dig into why being the bank, is better. Buying performing and none
performing notes, first and second positions and the pros and cons
to both.
Based out of New Jersey, he’s buying notes
nationwide, but has flipped high end homes locally. Why he’s
switching his buying model from $750-$1MM, to now trying to stay
around $350k-$650k. He likes to pick an area and buy many in that
area, as well as taking advantage of the “Ozone opportunity
areas”.
Just
recently, he launched his podcast, Passionate for Real Estate
Podcast, or PFREI to share his expertise on Notes, Rentals and
Flips. He’s reached out to his sphere to bring on other experts to
help others learn as well.
